MADELIA — A service for Marvin Walter Davis, 72, of Madelia, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Madelia. Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Madelia.

Davis died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Madelia, and one hour prior to the service Thursday, also at the church.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home, Pilgrim Chapel in Madelia.

Davis was born Sept. 25, 1944, in Madelia, to Lloyd and Enid (Hasle) Davis.

Survivors include: his wife of 53 years, Ardis (Ellingsberg) Davis; daughter, Lynn Limberg of Owatonna; son, Will Davis of Madelia; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; siblings, Larry Davis of Madelia, Shirley Brown of Englewood, Fla., Donna Kroeker of Wasilla, Alaska, Linda Zeidler of Lakeville, Steven Davis of Rochester, and Jim Davis of Little Falls.
