FAIRMONT — A funeral service for Bette Jane Armitage, 62, of Fairmont, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m., with a luncheon served during the visitation. Burial will follow the service in Lakeside Cemetery, Fairmont.

Bette passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017, at her home in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Bette Jane was born Dec. 13, 1954, in Prescott, Wis., to Norman and Tilda (Norby) Kolve. Growing up, Bette and her family lived in Wisconsin, where she attended school. Later in life she moved to Minnesota and made her home in Truman. Bette was blessed with four children: Tammie, Rocky, Jessica and Katie.

Bette was a member of The Church of Christ in Truman. She enjoyed sewing, working on ceramics, playing BINGO and reading Amish books. Bette’s greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She cherished all times spent together and making memories. Bette will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory include: her children, Tammie Andersen; Rocky Armitage and his children, Dominic and Bryant; Jessica Armitage and her children, Lukas and Charlie; and Katie Armitage and her children, Jacob, Lucy, Avery and Nadalie; sisters, Minnie Davidson and Bonnie Helgeson; brothers, David Kolve and Norman Kolve, Jr.; many nieces, nephews, other extended family and many friends.

Bette was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and two sisters.
