ROCHESTER — Bruce Rixmann, age 62, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Northfield Hospice. Burial will be held at a later date.

Bruce was born the son of Eston and Odetta Rixmann. He graduated from Fairmont High School in 1973. He was active in gymnastics, track and football. In 1975, he graduated from Emmetsburg Community College, majoring in hotel management.

He worked in many places, with his last place in Rochester, Minn. He had been battling cancer for many years.

Bruce leaves to mourn his mother, Odetta and stepfather, Bob Gallagher; brother, Craig (Dawn) Rixmann of Two Harbors, Minn.; a special niece, Sherri of Sacred Heart, Minn.; great-nieces, McKenzie, Kallie and Payton; one great-nephew, Nick; other relatives and friends.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Eston; sister, Renae; and baby brother, Todd.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Northfield Hospice or donors choice.
