BANCROFT — A funeral Mass for Shirley Hellman, 85, of Bancroft, Iowa, will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. John’s Catholic Church in Bancroft. Burial will be held in Elmore, Minn.

Hellman died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017. Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. Friday at the church in Bancroft. Oakcrest Funeral Services of Bancroft is in charge of arrangements.

Shirley Anne (McCormick) Hellman was born May 28, 1931, on a farm north of Elmore, Minn., to Fred and Gladys (Musselman) McCormick.

Survivors include: her husband of 36 years, Albert Hellman of Bancroft; children, Dennis Steenhard of Elmore, Lois Steenhard of Alameda, Calif., Lona Steenhard of Alameda, Calif., and David Steenhard of Louisville, Ky.; five granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Stanley McCormick of Elmore.
