SHERBURN – Truman Gilbert Kittleson, age 97, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014, at his home in Sherburn. Private family services will be held. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Lakeview Funeral Home of Fairmont.

He was born Aug. 22, 1916, in Ceylon, Minn., to Gilbert and Anna (Poppe) Kittleson.

Truman is survived by his wife, Mildred; children, Dr. Shirley Kittleson and friend, Greg Johnson of Sherburn, and Dr. Kathleen Sulik and friend, David Ward of Chapel Hill, N.C.; grandchildren, Chase Crawford of Sherburn, Kelly Sulik of Tryon, N.C., and Clay (Iris) Sulik of Boone, N.C.; brothers, Ted (Opal) of Ceylon, Norman (Pennie) of Sherburn; sisters, Evangeline (Wayne) Barber of Sherburn, Esther O’Sell of Chaska; brothers-in-law, Jim (Marti) Scholl of Fairmont, Harry (Micky) Larson of Armstrong, and Laverne Larson of Swea City; sisters-in-law, Shirley Kittleson of Sun City, Ariz., Evona Nelson of Peoria, Ill., and Ellen Klusendorf of Peoria, Ill.; many nieces, nephews, relatives and countless friends.

Truman was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Anna Kittleson; infant brothers and sisters, Frances, Fern and Nina; brothers, Herbert and wife Fairy, Enoch and wife Margaret, Gilbert F.; sister, Ann Scholl; father and mother-in-law, John and Gerda Larson (Clarence Froslan); brothers-in-law, John O’Sell, Leonard Larson, Art Nelson and Bill Klusendorf.
