Michael Allen Dunker
MILBANK, S.D. – Services for Michael Allen Dunker, 60, of Milbank, S.D., formerly of Jackson, will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, at Grace Lutheran Church, 300 S. Grant St., Fairmont, Minn. Relatives and friends are welcome to stay for light refreshments following the ceremony.
Mike passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, in Milbank, S.D.
Michael Allen Dunker was born June 27, 1953, in Jackson, Minn., to William Dunker and Mary Ann Cihak. He graduated from Jackson High School in 1972 and attended Jackson Area Vocational and Technical Institute studying automotive mechanics after graduation. Mike served on the Jackson Volunteer Fire Department from 1978 to 2003, and owned a successful small automotive repair shop in town. Mike enjoyed making people laugh and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mike is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Tusa of Jackson; his children, Laura Dunker of Fairmont, Minn., and Brad Dunker of Anchorage, Alaska; his four grandchildren; and brother and sisters.
