Veterans Memorial meeting on Wednesday

The monthly meeting for the Martin County Veterans Memorial is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Welcome American Legion in Welcome. All Martin County veterans and/or veterans’ family members, or interested public are encouraged to attend.

Trimont Legion Auxiliary to hold meeting

Trimont Legion Auxiliary will meet 2 p.m. Thursday at the Trimont Community Building in Trimont. Plans for the Veteran’s Day supper on Nov. 11, will be discussed. All members are urged to attend.

Disabled veterans plan Thursday party

Disabled American Veterans Chapter 32 and its auxiliary will hold its annual Christmas party 6 p.m. Thursday at the National Guard Armory in Fairmont. Nancy Jo’s Catering will furnish the meal. All members and their spouses are invited to attend.
