Cribbage event slated Saturday in Ceylon

A cribbage tournament will be held Saturday at Legends II in Ceylon, beginning with registration at 1:15 p.m. Play will get underway at 1:30 p.m. All interested cribbage players are invited to have fun and good fellowship. The public is welcome.

CREST “Lunch & Learn” coming to Fairmont & Trimont

Does your computer or cellphone frustrate you at times because it won’t work or doesn’t cooperate with you? CREST Lunch & Learn program for this month will be simple technology for seniors that will offer practical tips on technology issues that you may encounter. A meal of soups and cheese bread, plus a piece of cake for dessert will be served following the program. CREST Lunch & Learn program in Fairmont will take place 11 a.m. Monday, March 14, at the CREST office, 820 Winnebago Ave. in Fairmont, and the CREST Lunch & Learn program in Trimont will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, at First Lutheran Church, 61 Apple St. East in Trimont. An RSVP is requested for the Fairmont event by calling (507) 235-3833. This event is open to anyone in Martin County and a free-will donations is always welcome.
