Olson, Rosen claim victories

FAIRMONT — At the time of publication Republican Bjorn Olson was on track to defeat Patricia Bacon for the State Representative District 23A race. with 86 of 88 precincts reporting in, Olson had 13,699 votes to Bacon’s 6,250.

Another Republican, Jeremy Munson, willl return to the House, after a win over Leroy McClelland in the 23B race.

In the Senate District 23 race, incumbent Julie Rosen, R-Vernon Center, was set to win another term by defeating challenger David Pulkrabek with 79 percent of the vote to Pulkrabek’s 21 percent.
