FAIRMONT-- Jaime Bleess will continue to serve as the District 2 Martin County Commissioner after receiving 61 percent of the votes over challenger Dan Geronsin, who received 39 percent.
Richard Koons will also continue to serve as District 4 Martin County County Commissioner. With 62 percent of the votes, he won over challenger Julie Laue, who received 38 percent.
The rest of the county votes were uncontested.
Matt Owens wills serve as the new Martin County Sheriff, Michelle Duncan will continue to serve as County Recorder, Taylor McGowan will continue to serve as County Attorney and Ben Madsen will continue on as County Surveyor. As for Soil and Water Supervisors, Chantill Kahler Royer will continue to represent District 2 and Tyler Ask will continue to represent District 5 while Nolan Kittleson will serve as the new District 4 representative.
