The swings should have been sanded and two stage paints sprayed on, not brushed. This may have to be redone.
The meeting continued with an update from Public Works employee Nate Beckendorf who said that there is a request to sell the 1066 tractor, the loader and the snow blower. Howell and Miller Sellner both would sell it. Howell online auction with six percent commission and Miller Sellner with 10 percent commission. The council approved continuing with the Sherburn help and discussed Plumhoff applying if he wanted to help in Ceylon. Plumhoff is the former, retired, public works employee. Beckendorf will test in December for a license.
The Fire Association meeting discussed changing suppliers for their propane and ordering a lift with the grant money from Fox Lake Conservation. Mayor Perkins said that the first part of the water project proposed by Bolton and Menk and the city was approved and the second part should be soon. The third part is about the sewer.
