CEYLON -- The last Sundaes at the Park will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 16, at Triumph Memorial Park, with entertainment by the Fett Brothers. Bring a lawn chair, purchase an ice cream sundae and enjoy the music.
The Trimont Farmers Market will not be held on Friday, Aug. 21 because the Martin County Fair will be held. The Trimont Farmers Market will not have children’s activities on Friday, Aug. 28, because school is in session, but will serve lunch. Coffee Hours will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. each Tuesday in August at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn. The Coffee Hours on Tuesdays in September will be at St. Paul Community Church in Welcome. Coffee Lovers meet from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on Thursdays in the banquet room of the Lake Belt Bar and Grill in Ceylon. Join friends and neighbors for coffee and fellowship at these two opportunities in the area.
The CREST Lunch and Learn program will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at the First Lutheran Church in Trimont. Please RSVP by calling CREST at (507) 235-3833. These programs are free for senior citizens from Martin County. CREST appreciates a free-will donation.

If you signed up for the Heaven’s Table food boxes, remember they will be available for pickup from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Aug. 21, at 209 West Street in Ceylon.
