TRUMAN — As we celebrate Holy Week these are the following churches schedules:

*Church of Christ will have a 7 pm Thursday service with communion. Easter Sunday they will have a 7 am sunrise service with breakfast to follow. There is also a worship service at 10:30 am.

*St Johns Lutheran Church willow creek and St Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church will have their Maundy Thursday Service & Holy Communion at the Willow Creek at 6:30 pm. A Good Friday service is at St. Paul’s at 6:30 pm. An Easter Vigil service is at St Paul’s at 6:30pm on Saturday. The Easter service with Holy Communion is at St. Paul’s at 7:30 am with breakfast to follow. St. Johns service is at 9:30 am.

*Trinity Lutheran Church will have a 6:30 pm Good Friday service with communion. Easter Sunday service with communion will be held 10:30 am. Both services will be live streamed on their Facebook page at trinitylutherantruman.

Easter is a day for remembering all the incredible blessings we enjoy because Jesus is Risen.

Truman Sorority will again sponsor its annual Easter egg hunt. The event will be at 10 at Graf Park. All kids two years old through grade 5 are welcome to come. Come and see the Easter bunnies too. Bring your own container. Come a few minutes early to register for the prizes. The Sorority is asking for donations this year any amount is sincerely appreciated. The weather may not be the best so everyone please dress appropriately.

The Easter Bunny is coming to the Lewisville Old City Hall on Saturday April 4. Pictures with the Easter Bunny will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Register for prizes. They will be given out at 10:30 a.m. This event is sponsored by the Lewisville Commercial Club and Peppy Peppers 4-H club.

The Lutz Cancer Center, located at the Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont provides a monthly support group for patients from any community that has received a cancer diagnosis at any point in their life. The support group offers compassionate, cancer related education and support provided by different guest speakers in a variety of key roles. Attendees may share experiences and learn about coping with the challenges of cancer. Caregivers are welcome to attend. It’s the first Tuesday of every month from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. Truman Active Living will meet at 10 am on Tuesday, April 7, at the Truman Museum. Any Truman residents interested in seeing our community continue to provide and improve our facilities are welcome to come and give their input.

Saint Cloud State University’s Driver Discount Program for drivers over 55 years of age is holding a four-hour refresher course from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 11 at the Truman High School Conference Room. located at 401 East 1stt Street South in Truman. Please use main door.

Every swing counts. Every cheer matters. Help the Jaguars 2026 Strike Out Cancer Hometown Heroes. You can donate, attend, and support on April 14 at the Truman Baseball Field and Rosburg Softball Field. The Jags vs AG/CE game begins at approximately 4:30 p.m. when festivities begin. Get ready to bid on some amazing silent auction donations and delicious food at the concession stand. Monetary donations and silent auction donations are accepted. They can be dropped off at Elizabeth Chevrolet or Truman Public Schools during business hours, or contact a committee member to arrange pickup. Hope to see you on April 14 in Truman.
