CEYLON — Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Ceylon will have a communion service at 5:30 p.m. tonight, Saturday, March 21. They will have a bible class at 9:30 a.m. each Tuesday. Area residents are invited to join.

The cribbage tournament will begin with registration at 1:15 p.m. today, Saturday, March 21, at the Welcome Legion Hall. All area cribbage players are welcome to join.

The Coffee Lovers group meets from 8:30 to 10 a.m. each Thursday at the back room of the Lake Belt Bar and Grill in Ceylon. Area residents are welcome to join them for coffee and fellowship.

The Lenten midweek services continue on Wednesday, March 25, at area churches. St. Paul’s Lutheran in Wilbert will host its partner church, St. John’s Lutheran in Sherburn, for a service at 6 p.m., followed by a cooperative meal. Circle of Faith parishes meet at Waverly Lutheran Church in Trimont for a meal at 6 p.m., followed by a service at 7 p.m. St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Sherburn will have services at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, and Stations of the Cross mass and meal at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Area residents are welcome to join any of these churches for services. March 25 is the last Wednesday service. Palm Sunday is March 29. The week before Easter has special services.

Those who wish to receive Heaven’s Table food boxes can sign up by April 9 by calling (507) 236-7850. Pickup will be from 9 a.m. to noon on April 21. Thank you to the Helping Hands of Ceylon for arranging the food boxes.

Ceylon’s 91st annual Community Day Auction will be on April 11. Maps are usually at the auctioneer’s bus (office) and at the post office in Ceylon.

The Lake Belt Bar and Grill will have an Easter Bingo for children at 11 a.m. on March 29. They will have a Nutt Fry at 5 p.m. on April 10.

A Spring Indoor Farmers’ Market will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Trimont. They will serve lunch, including soup and bars, or cookies and coffee. The free-will donation for lunch will go to the Trimont Community Food Shelf. The market will feature many vendors of local goods and crafts. Plan to attend.

The Friendship Club from St. John’s Lutheran Church invites area residents to join them for lunch at 11 a.m. on April 6 at The Still Bar and Grill in Dunnell. All area residents are welcome to join them. Membership at St. John’s is not required.

The Fox Lake Event Center in Sherburn will have a Music Bingo and Pizza Night at 5:30 p.m. on March 28.

CREST will have Toolbox for Caregivers from 9:30 to 11 a.m. each Thursday in April at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Sherburn. Please sign up by March 31 at (507) 235-3833. A suggested donation of $10 will help cover the cost of materials.
