Sherburn Legion Hamburger Night tonight
SHERBURN — CREST’s Lunch and Learn program will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, March 18, at First Lutheran Church in Trimont. The program will be presented by a representative of Interfaith Caregivers from Blue Earth about the Alertlink Medical Alert System. This program is for Martin County senior citizens and a lunch will follow. CREST does appreciate a free-will donation. RSVP to (507) 235-3833.
CREST will have Toolbox for Caregivers from 9:30 to 11 a.m. each Thursday in April at the Sinn Celebration of Life Center in Sherburn. Please sign up by March 31 by calling (507) 235-3833. A suggested donation of $10 will help cover the cost of materials.
Lenten Midweek services continue tonight at 6 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn, followed by a pork chop meal. They will host their partner church from Wilbert, and area residents are welcome to join them for services. The Circle of Faith parishes meet at 6 p.m. at Waverly Lutheran Church for a meal and 7 p.m. services. The St. Luke’s Catholic Church has Lenten services at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and a Stations of the Cross and Mass at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, followed by a meal.
The Sherburn Legion will have its Hamburger Night from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, March 18. Get a burger, salad and beans for only $12.
A cribbage tournament will begin at 1:15 p.m. with registration on Saturday, March 21, at the Welcome Legion. All area cribbage players are welcome to join the fun.
The Trimont Farmers’ Market will have an indoor market from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 26 at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Trimont. Soup, bars, cookies and coffee will be served for lunch. The proceeds of the lunch will go to the Trimont Community Food Shelf. There will be market vendors and craft vendors. Plan to attend.
There will be a Music Bingo and Pizza Night beginning at 5:30 p.m. on March 28, at the Fox Lake Event Center in Sherburn.
The Friendship Club from St. John’s Lutheran Church invites area residents to join them for lunch at 11 a.m. on April 6 at The Still Bar and Grill in Dunnell. All area residents are welcome to join them. Membership at St. John’s is not required.
