Fairmont Speech competes at Woodbury/Eagan
Six members of the Fairmont Speech Team competed at the National Qualifying tournament at Woodbury/Eagan on March 13 and 14. Two members broke out to rounds.
Drama:
Allie Streit broke to Semi-Finals and placed ninth.
Us Extemp:
Bel Lutterman took fifth and qualified to the national tournament.
Oratory:
Bel Lutterman took second and qualified to the national tournament. She will be joining Leon Yang in Richmond, Virginia in June.
On March 14, four members competed at the Eagan wildcat tournament.
Humor:
Next in: Megan Wheeler took second.
Merit: Thomas Hamlet took sixth.
And on March 14, the rest of the Fairmont team competed at the St. Clair Tournament.
