TRUMAN — Lewisville Legion Auxiliary will have a chicken supper from 5 to 6:30 pm Sunday, Feb. 15.
An American Red Cross blood drive will be from 2 to 7 pm Tuesday, Feb. 16, at the Lewisville Legion. Schedule an appointment using the blood donor app, call 1-800-733-2767, go to www.redcrossblood.org and enter LEWISVILLEAMBULANCE or email lewisvilleambulance@gmail.com.
Ruby’s Pantry will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 16 at the Regional Worship Center, located at 2 Crossroads Drive in Sherburn. The cost is $25 per bundle. If you would like to pay ahead go to www.rubyspantry.org. There you can schedule your express track reservation. It will walk you through how to do it.

Truman City Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at the Truman Municipal Building. The change of date is due to Presidents’ Day.
The GHEC/ML/Truman Jaguar girls’ basketball team will compete against Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s tonight, Feb. 12 at Martin Luther High School in Northrop. The Jaguar girls’ and boys’ basketball teams will compete against Windom on Friday, Feb. 13 in Windom. The Jaguar girls’ basketball team will compete against Blue Earth Area on Monday, Feb. 16 at Martin Luther High School in Northrop. The Jaguar boys’ basketball team will compete against Jackson County Central on Tuesday, Feb. 17 in Jackson.
The Truman Public School 8th grade class bake sale will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Truman Museum.
Future Farmers of America (FFA) Week is being held at the TPS from Feb 17 to Feb. 20, which includes dress-up days. Tuesday is Pajama Day, Wednesday is Flannel/Western Day, Thursday is Blue and Gold Day and Friday is Neon/Sunglasses Day. Truman Public School’s FFA annual pancake breakfast will be from 6 to 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19 in the TPS metal shop. The meals include pancakes, bacon, milk, coffee and juice. Teen Night for students in 5th to 8th grades from Truman, St. Paul’s, Martin Luther and GHEC will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27 at the TPS gymnasium. Activities include dancing and glow volleyball. Admission is $5. Snacks, glowsticks and items will be available for purchase. Pre-register by Thursday, Feb. 26 by calling the TPS office at (507) 776-2111.
A science activity will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 23 at TPS. Pre-registration is due by Thursday, Feb. 19, by calling the TPS office. Children in grades 3 and younger will need an adult to accompany them. Bring a snack. A beverage is provided.
