FAIRMONT– Citizens will have the opportunity to get involved in the selection of candidates that will represent their political party in the upcoming November election on Tuesday, Feb. 3.

Registration starts at 6 p.m., caucuses start at 7 p.m. and end at 8 p.m.

Caucuses, the first step in the Minnesota political process, are the gathering of neighbors who share a similar political belief, coming together to talk and learn about candidates running for office. Delegates chosen will go on to attend future political conventions.

The Martin County DFL caucus will be in the Budd Room at Fairmont Elementary School at 714 Victoria Street. Enter through door #1.

The Republican Party caucus will be at the Red Rock Center for the Arts in Fairmont at 222 E. Blue Earth Avenue.
