WELCOME — The Circle of Faith parishes will have services at 9 a.m. at Trinity in Welcome and at 10:30 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Trimont on Sunday. First Lutheran will have their annual meeting following the service that day. St. Paul’s Community Church in Welcome will have 9:30 a.m. services on Sunday. St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Sherburn has services at 5 p.m. on Saturday. St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn has 8 a.m. services and will have their annual meeting on Sunday as well as their partner church St. Paul’s Lutheran in Wilbert (after 10 a.m. services). Area residents are welcome to join any of the area church’s services.

The Lake Promenaders Square Dance group will meet for dancing at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25, at 804 1st Street in Welcome. Dancers and watchers are welcome to join.

Condolences to the families of Mildred Besel, Pamela “Olson” Attenello, Phyllis “Leet” Schultz and Emma Simmering, former Welcome residents. They will be missed by family and friends.
