CEYLON — The Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Ceylon will have their 5:30 p.m. communion service tonight. They also invite area residents to the Bible Class at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesdays.

The Cribbage Tournament will begin with registration at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Welcome Legion Hall. All area cribbage players are welcome.

The Lake Belt Bar and Grill in Ceylon will have Line Dancing lessons tonight. They will have Burger Night for the Ceylon Fire Department on Nov. 22. They are now open on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. They will also have a Vendor Event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 29 for small businesses in the area. The Ruby’s Pantry grocery distribution will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 17 at the parking lot of the Regional Worship Center in Sherburn, south of Interstate 90. There are no residential or income guidelines for this distribution of groceries. $25 will get a trunkful of groceries.

The CREST Lunch and Learn program will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at the First Lutheran Church in Trimont. These programs are free for senior citizens in Martin County. CREST appreciates a free-will donation for the provided lunch.

The American Red Cross Blood drives will be held on Nov. 25 and 26 at the Best Western in Fairmont, Dec. 1 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont and at the Regional Worship Center in Sherburn. Santa Workshop at 1 p.m. on Nov. 30 at the Sinn family Celebration of Life Center in Sherburn.

A joint service for the two congregations of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert will be at 9 a.m. on Nov. 23 at St. John’s Church in Sherburn. This is the last service Pastor Wilson will officiate. He is retiring.

November 30 will start the new times for the two congregations which are 8 a.m. at Sherburn and 10 a.m. at Wilbert.

The Sherburn Theatre will be the space for the Martin County West (MCW) school play at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21 and Saturday, Nov. 22 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23. The Sherburn Theatre will work with the C & C in Sherburn and have a free movie on Dec. 5 to 7 sponsored by the Fox Lake Conservation group.

The Sherburn Lions will have a pancakes with Santa from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 7 at the MCW High School Cafeteria.
