FAIRMONT — If you’re looking for some pampering, Rose’s Salon is now open for business. The salon opened officially a week ago, and Rose’s Nails owner Rose Nguyen, who has been a nail tech for 10 years, is excited to bring a new business into Fairmont.

“The one time I came and saw that [there are salons] in the big town, but not many nail salons here. Then a lot of people have to drive for one hour. It can be really hard during the snowy season. That’s why I’m here, for the good business and to help a lot of people,” Nguyen said.

Rose’s Nails offers manicures, including acrylic, dip powder and gel manicures and pedicures, all in various colors and designs, along with waxing services. These services are all offered from the comfort of luxury furniture.

Nguyen said that Rose’s Nails is wrapping up the finishing touches on some construction and remodeling to truly bring the space at 40 Downtown Plaza to a salon ambiance for customers.

The salon is also one of 10 locations across northern Iowa and southern Minnesota.

“It becomes busy,” Nguyen said with a chuckle regarding overseeing all of them, but she added that she is happy to add a quality nail salon to the area and looks forward to many things with the new location, including tethering the Rose’s Nails business with the Fairmont community.

S0 far, Nguyen reported that business has been booming and they’ve received a generous amount of clients in the short amount of time since the salon has been open. She encourages individuals to visit the salon and take advantage of their promotional special events.
