Truman Public School’s After Prom Party Sub Sandwich Fundraiser is going on now through Friday, Oct. 3. Subs are $6 each or $55 for 10. Subs are made on 10 to 12-inch poor boy buns from Schmidt’s Bakery and are layered with ham, turkey, and white and yellow American cheese. The Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther Jaguar volleyball team will have a game against Loyola Catholic School at 7 p.m., tonight, Oct. 2, at the Fitzgerald Campus gymnasium in Mankato.

The GHEC/Truman Jaguar football game against Adrian will be played at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3 in Granada.

The GHEC/T/ML Jaguar volleyball team has a game against Cedar Mountain at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6 in Truman.

AJ Onion Rings will be at Martin County Repair/Voyles Filter cleaning from 11 a.m. until gone on Saturday, Oct. 4.

Holy Hotdish Fundraiser for organ will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Truman. Assorted hot dishes, bread, dessert and beverages will be served for a free-will donation. Take-outs will be available along with delivery within a 10-mile radius of Truman. The Truman City Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, at the Truman Municipal Building. These meetings are open to the public.

American Red Cross blood drives will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at the elementary activity room at Truman Public Schools, from 1 to 6 p.m. on Oct. 13 at the Presbyterian Church in Amboy, from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 20 at Martin Luther High School in Northrop and from noon to 6 p.m. on Oct. 28 at the Truman Community Center.
