TRUMAN — The City-wide Cleanup, only for the residents of Truman, will be from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Prairieland Solid Waste Facility (801 East 5th Street North, Truman). Items accepted at no cost include couches, chairs, patio furniture, bed frames, mattress, box spring, dressers, cabinets, bikes, scrap iron and swing/slides. There will be a fee for electronics, appliances or any items that have a plug-in or cord removed. No tires or car batteries.

The Lewisville Legion Auxiliary Chicken Supper will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21 at the Lewisville American Legion.

Lewisville will be 125 years old in 2026. To start planning the celebration, all members of the Lewisville community are invited to attend a meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the Lewisville American Legion. The Facebook page is Lewisville FUN DAZE.

Truman Public School Fall pictures grades pre-kindergarten to 12 will be on Thursday, Sept. 25.

The Truman Fire Relief Association Burger Bash will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 11. Free-will donations will be accepted.
