Truman Pool open for final days
TRUMAN — Enjoy the last days of summer at the Truman Pool. Today, Friday and Saturday are the last days. The pool will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. and again from 6:30 to 9 p.m., if there are three swimmers or more present. The last late-night swim is from 9 to 11 p.m. on Friday. The cost is $3.
A farmers’ market will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, at Graf Park in Truman. Vendors can be anyone selling homemade or homegrown items of any variety: vegetables, canned or baked goods, woodworking, sewing, soap making, craft projects, the list is endless. Get your Power of Produce tokens from Pat Jones at the Market.

A Meyer Family benefit to support Travis Meyer and his family as he battles brain cancer will be held from 3 to 6 p.m., Sept. 1 at River Ridge Church, 354 Carol Court, North Mankato. Travis is the son of Duane and Lynda Meyer of rural Truman. Enjoy a taco bar, activities for kids, silent auction and music by Zak Rivers.
