WELCOME– Sundaes at the Park in Trimont will have their last event with Ryan and Braelynn Faber as the entertainment at 6 p.m. at the Park on Sunday, Aug. 17. The location in case of inclement weather is the Sinn facility in Trimont. Take your lawn chair and enjoy the music and ice cream.

At 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18 the Martin County West School Board is scheduled to meet at the elementary school in Sherburn.

Welcome Legion Auxiliary will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18 at the Welcome Legion Hall at 6:30 p.m. All members are urged to attend.

At 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19 the Welcome City Council is scheduled to meet at City Hall. There is always a time set aside for public comment/question at the beginning

On Tuesdays in August the Coffee Hours are located at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Join friends and neighbors for fellowship over a cup of coffee and some treats.

The Legion will have a Membership Drive Chicken and Corn Feed beginning at 6 p.m. with social hour at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22. Memberships are due and there will be a drawing for $50 gift cards among paid up members. This supper is also open to the public.

The Red Cross Blood drive will be located at the American Legion Hall in downtown Fairmont on Aug. 22 and on Sept. 2-3 at the Best Western hotel in Fairmont.
