The contest kicks off this Saturday, June 21, when the nomination round opens. It only takes one qualified nomination to advance to the voting round, and anyone may nominate. Simply go to fairmontsentinel.com/best.

Then, come Aug. 16, things will get really exciting when that voting round opens. Through Aug. 24, you can cast your ballot for your favorites daily at fairmontsentinel.com/best in more than 100 categories, including best auto body shop, best hair salon, best happy hour, best real estate agent, best in-home care and many more.

All of this will lead to Oct. 4, when we’ll reveal the winner and two finalists in all categories.
