TRUMAN — Notice the change as to when water is available at the community gardens. It is available from 7 to 10 a.m. on Monday through Saturday only.

Donations are needed to help fund the Truman Days parade in July. Please help put on the parade by sending your donations to P.O. Box 34, Truman, Minn. 56088. Your sponsorship and donation are sincerely appreciated. The Truman Days parade is funded separately from other Truman Days activities. Because of your sponsorship or donations, Truman has been able to put on a nice parade that has been enjoyed by many in the area.

Enjoy a donut on National Donut Day on Friday, June 6.

The Truman Active Living Group welcomes the public’s attendance at their meetings, held on the second Tuesday of the month. The next meeting is at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10, at the Truman Historical Museum.

Come to the Truman Library for storytime at 3 p.m. every Wednesday. There is no cost to attend. Registration is not required. The Truman Community Building will have a magic show at 1:30 p.m. on June 11. Questions can be directed to Theresa at (507) 776-2717 from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will waive all entrance and vehicle permit fees at Minnesota State Parks on Saturday, June 14.
