The Welcome City Council will meet at 6 p.m. on June 3 at the City Hall. There is always a time for public comments and questions at the beginning of each meeting without prior reservations. To be on the regular agenda, please contact City Hall at (507) 728-8740 before the meeting date.
The Welcome Burning Site will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. on June 4. Bring only wood and branches that are six inches in diameter or smaller, please. Thank you for your cooperation. The City reminds residents that lawns should be mowed before grass reaches six to seven inches tall. The grass clippings should not be discharged into the street because they clog up the storm drains. Discharge sump pumps to the lawn or storm drain.
