MCW groundbreaking on Wednesday
CEYLON — Canaan James will perform at 8 p.m. tonight, May 24, at the Lake Belt Bar and Grill in Ceylon.
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert will change to their summer schedule on Sunday, May 25. Sunday services will be at 10 a.m. instead of 9:30 a.m.
A groundbreaking event will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, at the football field by the high school in Sherburn for the new school planned for the Martin County West School District.
Tuesday Coffee Hours Continue at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday Coffee Lovers meet in Ceylon at the back room of Lake Belt Bar and Grill from 8:30 to 10 a.m. All area residents are welcome to join these Coffee hours for fellowship.
Memorial Day is on Monday, May 26. Memorial Day programs at 10:30 a.m. at the City Park in Sherburn (or, if inclement weather, at the high school) and at 9 a.m. at the Legion Hall in Welcome. This is a good opportunity to remember veterans who served or are serving the country. Remember, Freedom isn’t Free.
