CEYLON — An Easter Egg Hunt is happening at 10 a.m. today, April 19, at the Hansen Keck Park on North Dugan Street in Welcome. An Easter Egg Hunt will be at 10 a.m. today, April 19, at the City Park in Dunnell.

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Ceylon will have its 5:30 p.m. Easter service tonight, April 19, with a lunch to follow. Area residents are welcome to join them.

Easter Sunday services for the Circle of Faith Parishes are at 9 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Trimont for all four parishes. St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert will have 8 a.m. Easter services, with breakfast to follow the service. Their partner church in Sherburn, St. John’s, will have 7 a.m. Easter Service and a 9:30 a.m. Service with breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Area residents are encouraged to join these congregations for services to celebrate Easter Sunday.

The Tuesday Coffee Hours continue from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Sinn Family Celebration of Life Center in Trimont. Join friends and neighbors for good fellowship with coffee and goodies. The May Coffee Hours will be at the Trinity Church in Welcome. A Coffee Lovers group meeting will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. each Thursday at the back room of Lake Belt Bar and Grill in Ceylon.

The Clean Up Day in Ceylon will be on May 10 with curbside pickup only. This is a good opportunity to get rid of items that may be an ordinance violation. Call City Hall for further information at (507) 632-4653. This is for Ceylon residents only.

The American Red Cross Blood drives will be on May 15 at Grace Lutheran Church, May 19 at St. Vianney Catholic Church, and May 23 at the LiveFit Gym. All of these are in Fairmont.
