TRUMAN — Truman Lions Club Burger Bash will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Truman Community Building. The menu includes a hamburger, condiments, chips, beans and a beverage. Take-outs are available.

Come to the Granada Ambulance Garage for family Turkey Bingo on Sunday, Nov. 17. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and food starts at 11:30 a.m. with to-go orders available. Bingo starts at 1 p.m. This is a fundraiser for equipment in ambulances. No outside beverages or food allowed.

Truman City Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. All meetings are open to the public.

The Truman School Board meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday in the board conference room.

Wednesday is recycling day. Recycling containers should be curbside by 7 a.m. Be sure all items are clean, and the cardboard is broken down.

Second Harvest Heartland, a nutrition assistance program for seniors, will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20. Come to Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman to pick up your box. Eligibility is based on age, 60 years and up, household size, and income. Pre-register at 1-800-365-0270.

Lewisville Commercial Club will meet at 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, at the legion.

Armstrong Bass Holiday Concert will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21 at the Truman Community building. This event is hosted by the Martin County Library.
