Active Living group meets Tuesday
TRUMAN — A Veterans Day program will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11 at the Truman Public School auditorium. As we recognize Veterans Day, we would like to take a moment to express our deep appreciation to the brave individuals who have served and continue to serve in our military. Express thanks to the families of those who have served or are serving. Many people have to give up a spouse or a mom or dad while someone is serving in the military. Those people are making a sacrifice.
If you served in the US military or National Guard, you are eligible for a free first-year membership with American Legion Lee C. Prentice Post 36-Fairmont. (All active-duty military personnel are eligible for a free membership). Call (507) 235-9862 or text (507) 236-5743 for details.
The Truman Active Living group will meet at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at the Truman Museum. Interested area residents who enjoy seeing the city thrive are welcome to join this group. If you have any questions, call Pat at (507) 236-4433.
