CEYLON — There will be a communion service starting 5:30 p.m. tonight, Aug. 17, at Our Savior’s Lutheran in Ceylon. Area residents are welcome to these Saturday evening services on the first and third Saturdays of each month. Our Savior’s will also begin a Bible class ay 9:30 a.m. each Tuesday morning in September. The first class will be on Sept. 5. All are welcome to join them.

Ruby’s Pantry grocery distribution will be held 5:30-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19 at the Regional Worship Center in Sherburn, just south of I-90. The $25 charge will get a trunkful of groceries. A partial list is on Facebook this weekend. No residential or income guidelines are used.

Tuesday coffee hours in August continue from 8:30-10 a.m. Aug. 20, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn. Join friends and neighbors for coffee, goodies and great fellowship. A free will donation is appreciated.

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, at the American Legion, 300 Downtown Plaza in in Fairmont. There will also be a blood drive from Sept. 3-4 at the Best Western hotel in Fairmont.
