Lumber yard in Sherburn under new ownership
SHERBURN — The Sherburn Library has summer storytimes at 3:30 p.m. Thursdays in June and July. The library also has Boredom Busters at 2:30 p.m. every Tuesday in June.
There is a Farmer’s Market from 2:30-5:30 p.m. on Fridays at Anderson Park in Trimont. Follow detour signs since Highway 4 is under construction. Sundaes in the Park at 6 p.m. on Sundays in Trimont is also underway for the summer.
Condolences to the families of Diane (Lutterman) Kranitz, Dennis Lutterman, Darcy Meyer and Ted Linton, who all passed away recently. They will be missed by friends and family.
Tuesday coffee hours in June continue from 8:30-10 a.m. on June 25, at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Sherburn. Join friends and neighbors for coffee, goodies and great fellowship. Coffee hours for the month of July will be held the same times at the Regional Worship Center (just south of I-90) in Sherburn.
An American Red Cross blood drive will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, June 21, at the Fairmont Legion, 300 Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. Also, St. Paul’s in Welcome will have a blood drive on July 15. There will be a special Heart Song concert and other activities as a fundraiser for the Healing Hearts Housing group this Saturday, June 22 in the Martin County Arena at the fairgrounds in Fairmont. The Sherburn Theatre will again feature the movie ‘Inside Out 2’ this weekend, June 21-23. Show times are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 4 p.m. on Sunday. Watch for directions because of the construction. There may be parking on the side and you can then walk to the theatre. The theatre appreciates the public’s cooperation and loyalty during this time with the construction
