SHERBURN -- The Sherburn Theatre will feature another movie celebrating its 30th anniversary, 'Nightmare Before Christmas' this weekend, Oct. 27-29. Show times are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 4 p.m. on Sunday. They would also like to announce that they
will show the movie 'Killers of the Flower Moon' the weekend of Nov. 3-5.

There are several Trunk and Treat events for children celebrating
Halloween in the area.
• From 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 at Sherburn City Park.
• From 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Ceylon Park.
• From noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29 in the downtown area on Main Street in Welcome.
• From 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29 at Dunnell Community Hall.
• From 4-7p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31 at the Trimont Town Center.
Also on Tuesday, Oct.31, children are encouraged to come to the Temperance Lake Ridge facility and show their costumes to the residents and receive treats from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The Welcome Summer Festival 'Hamburger Night' fundraiser will be held 5-7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at the Welcome Legion Hall. They will have many toppings and sides available. Check out their Facebook post.

There will be a volleyball game tonight, Oct.25, at Cleveland. On Thursday, Oct. 26, volleyball sectionals begin with a game at St. Peter as well as cross-country sectionals at Norwood-Young America. Good luck Mavericks.

Today, Oct. 25, is the last day to order holiday greens from the youth group of St. John's Lutheran Church in Sherburn. Orders will come from Sherburn Nursery and will be delivered the week of Nov. 20th.

The Martin County West FFA group is currently selling fruit and the last day to order is Tuesday, October 31. They are also selling meat and cheese, butter braids, herring and dairy products from Stensland Farms. Contact the online website of your favorite FFA

The last community informational meeting concerning the school building referendum for the November 7th election will be held 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, in Dunnell. Be an informed voter.

On Nov. 3rd, there will be an early dismissal for Martin County West Schools. Nov. 3 is also the date for the Turkey Bingo at the Sherburn Fire Hall to raise funds for the Sherburn Fire Department Relief Association. They have over 30 turkeys and would appreciate your participation in the fundraiser. This year the Bingo will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Sherburn Fire Hall. Plan to attend.

An American Red Cross blood drive is scheduled for noon to 6 p.m. on Nov. 6 at the Regional Worship Center in Sherburn, just south of I-90. There will also be a blood drive that day from 12:30-5:30 p.m. at Martin Luther Jr/Sr High School in Northrop. To make an
