AJ’s onion rings will be available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 at T-Town Tinker and Towing on Highway 15 in Truman. Get your last onion rings for the season.
Truman City Council will meet 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, at the Truman Municipal Building. These meetings are open to the public.

There will be an American Red Cross blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 11 at Truman High School.
If you would like to become an EMT, a class is being scheduled in Truman in October or November. If you have a desire to help people, please consider taking this class regardless of the community in which you live. If you are a resident of Truman or have 10-minute response time, the classes are offered to you at no cost. Sub sandwich fundraiser for the Truman High School after-prom party is taking orders until October 13. The cost is $6 each or 10 for $55. The 10-12 inch bun is made at Schmidt’s Bakery is layered with sliced ham, turkey, white and yellow American cheese, no lettuce or mayo so they freeze well. To order, contact a THS sophomore, junior, senior or Zanna Sill at (507) 384-8471. Orders can be picked up from 3:30-6 p.m. on Nov. 1, at the THS cafeteria.
