There will be an American Red Cross blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 11 at Truman High School.

If you would like to become an EMT, a class is being scheduled in Truman in October or November. If you have a desire to help people, please consider taking this class regardless of the community in which you live. If you are a resident of Truman or have 10-minute response time, the classes are offered to you at no cost. Sub sandwich fundraiser for the Truman High School after-prom party is taking orders until October 13. The cost is $6 each or 10 for $55. The 10-12 inch bun is made at Schmidt’s Bakery is layered with sliced ham, turkey, white and yellow American cheese, no lettuce or mayo so they freeze well.
