There will be an American Red Cross blood drive from 2-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, at St. John Vianney Church in Fairmont. On Oct. 2nd, there will be two blood drives. First, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont and from noon to 6 p.m. at St. Paul’s UCC Church in Welcome. The last Tuesday coffee hour for September and 2023 will be held 8:30-10 a.m. Sept. 26, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Welcome. Join friends for coffee and goodies.

There is a Bible Study group meeting at 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Ceylon. Join them any Tuesday.

St. Peter Lutheran Church WELCA ladies group will hold a meeting at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 4, at the Homestead Assisted Living facility where Jeanine Rasmussen lives. All members urged to attend.

There will be a free Trunk and Treat event, for area children, sponsored by the Helping Hands of Ceylon non-profit group, from 2-5 p.m. Oct. 28 at the city park in Ceylon. Donations and volunteers are appreciated.

There will be a Halloween Karaoke Party beginning 8 p.m. Oct. 28, at the Lake Belt Bar and Grill in Ceylon. Karaoke with Rob will provide the musical entertainment and there will be prizes for best costumes. Also, keep Dec. 1st open as ‘IV Play’ will hold a concert at 9:15 p.m. at the Lake Belt Bar and Grill.
