Fundraiser for kitchen flooring this Saturday
TRUMAN — A farmers’ market will be held 8-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at Graf Park in Truman. Vendors can be anyone selling homemade or homegrown items of any variety: vegetables, canned or baked goods, woodworking, sewing, soap making, craft projects, the list is endless. A coffee and cookies fundraiser for kitchen flooring will be held 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at the community building in Truman. Enjoy your afternoon having coffee and cookies for a free will donation. For more information, call Joyce Ysker at (507) 822-6181. Jaguar Football home opener is tonight, Aug. 31, at the football field in Truman. Starting at 5 p.m. there will be a tailgate meal with pulled pork, burgers, hotdogs, BBQ’s, nachos and more. The game will begins at 7 p.m. against Edgerton.

• City-wide cleanup for residents of the City of Truman ONLY will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 23 or until the dumpster is full.
