Accident Report

1:44 p.m. -- A one vehicle accident at westbound I-90, milepost 109, Pleasant Prairie Township, Martin County, resulted in non-life threatening injuries to those persons who were involved.
According to the State Patrol:
A 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Randall Joseph Kass, age 58, of McHenry, Ill., and a passenger, Sharon Elizabeth Hagan, age 51, of Island Lake, Ill., was traveling westbound on I-90, when it blew a tire and rolled. Martin County Sheriff's Office, Fairmont Fire Department, Granada First Responders and Mayo Ambulance, assisted on the scene.
The driver of the motorcycle was wearing his helmet, while the female passenger was not wearing a helmet. Both the driver and passenger were transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont with believed non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
