Mobile Clinic in Sherburn Monday

SHERBURN– The date to pick up the items from the Welcome School auction (and payment date) is Thursday and Friday. The winning bidders will be contacted.

Condolences to the family of Roy Trudell from Dunnell who passed away recently. He will be missed.

Sherburn Theatre will feature Sounds of Freedom again this weekend. Show times are 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday and 4 p.m. on Sunday. It is about a veteran that helps find and free children caught by human traffickers.

FFA members must turn in their forms by Tuesday, August 1, for Martin County Fair participation. Contact Mrs. Wohlhuter.

The Mayo Mobile Clinic will be in Sherburn 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, July 31 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday August 2 near City Hall on first street. Call the appointment number at (507) 238-8500 and mention Sherburn Clinic.

The C&C Club will meet 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 1 at the Senior Center in Sherburn. All members are urged to attend.

August Tuesday Coffee Hours continue with an August 1st meeting at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Join friends and community members for good coffee and goodies and good fellowship each Tuesday in August.

There will be a Lunch and Learn program 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 2nd in Sherburn at the Senior Center. The speaker will be chiropractor Dr. Zephanie Cole from Align Chiropractic and Acupuncture in Fairmont. She will speak on the topic “Stress Less and Be at Your Best”. The lunch will be barbecued ribs, summer salad, and a peach dessert. This will be served after the speaker’s presentation. This program is sponsored by Crest and is a free program to anyone in Martin County. A free will donation is appreciated for the lunch.

Sherburn Hamburger Night is 5-8 p.m, Wednesday, August 2, at the Sherburn Legion Hall. Only $10 purchases a burger, salad and beans.

Sundaes at the Park in Trimont will begin at 6 p.m., August 6, featuring Vicki Beckendorf as the entertainment and delicious sundaes
