Truman City Council meets 5:30 p.m. Monday, July 17 at the municipal building. The public is welcome to attend those meetings.

Second Harvest Heartland, nutrition assistance program for seniors, will be held 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 19 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman. Come to the church to pick up your box. Eligibility is based on age, 60 years and up, household size and income. Pre-register at 1-800-365-0270.

Household hazardous waste collection will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Wednesday in July. Bring your old cleaning supplies, old gas, oil and garage/automotive items for FREE. Also, appliances and electronics are accepted for a fee. No tires accepted.
"Magic Bob" and his comedy magic show will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, at the Truman Community Building.

A late night swim will be held 9-11 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Truman pool for $2 a person. Season passes not accepted.

The Truman classic tractor ride is Friday, July 21. Lineup begins at 7:30 p.m. and at 8 a.m. you will leave to travel the county roads. A noon lunch will be served at Graf Park for the participants, provided by CFS. Lineup is at Prairieland, 801 E. 5th St. N. in Truman.
