TRUMAN -- A farmer's market will be held 8-11 a.m. Saturday, June 24, at Graf Park in Truman. Vendors can be anyone selling homemade or homegrown items of any variety: vegetables, canned or baked goods, woodworking, sewing, soap making, craft projects, the list is endless. Truman Public Schools food service is offering FREE breakfast and lunch to children, 18 and under, Monday through Friday. Breakfast will be served 8:15-8:45 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to noon in the cafeteria. Please use door 7 in front of the school. No meals will be served July 3 through July 7. Please encourage your child to stay healthy with these nutritious meals.

Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman is holding a salad luncheon from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 28. Enjoy salads, crackers, fresh fruit, veggie pizza, deviled eggs, egg salad and ham salad sandwiches, bars and beverages. Enjoy all this for a cost of $8 for adults and kids, 10 and under, cost $3. Your sponsorship and/or donation are sincerely appreciated. Truman Days parade is funded separately from other Truman Days activities. Because of your sponsorship or donations, Truman has been able to put on a nice parade that has been enjoyed by many in the area over the years.
