A farmers’ market will be held 8-11 a.m. Saturday, June 10 and June 24, at Graf Park in Truman. Vendors can be anyone selling homemade or homegrown items of any variety: vegetables, canned or baked goods, woodworking, sewing, soap making, craft projects,

Truman swimming pool is open daily from 1-5 p.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m. Water aerobics are from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday only.

The MN Department of Natural Resources will waive all entrance and vehicle permit fees at MN State Parks on Saturday, June 10.

Truman Public Schools food service is offering FREE breakfast and lunch to children, 18 and under, Monday through Friday. Breakfast will be served 8:15-8:45 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to noon in the cafeteria. Please use door 7 in front of the school. No meals will be served July 3 through July 7. Please encourage your child to stay healthy with these nutritious meals.

Truman Active Living Group will meet 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, at the Truman Museum. If you would like to see Truman continue to provide and improve their facilities, then your input is welcome.

Flag Day is June 14, the anniversary of the adoption of the Stars and Stripes as the official US flag in 1777.

“Jolly Pops” and their puppets will be providing music, movement and fun learning beginning 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, at the Truman Community Building. Everyone is invited. Due to this special event, there will be no storytime/craft at the Truman Public Library.

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held 12:30-6:30 p.m. on June 19, at the Truman Community Building.
