Museum open first Sunday in June

CEYLON — Circle of Faith parishes, which include St. Peter Lutheran in Ceylon, are reminded that there will be a Pentecost Vigil beginning 6:30 p.m. tonight, May 27, at First Lutheran Church in Trimont, in lieu of Sunday services. Please bring a lawn chair as the service will be outside with a bonfire at the church’s parking lot.

Monday, May 29, is Memorial Day, a day to remember those who serve and those who served as well as those who died saving our country’s freedom. Thank you to all that serve to keep us safe and free.

Condolences to the family of Jeffrey Steele, former Ceylon resident, who passed away recently. Gone too soon. He will be missed.

The month of June will begin next weekend, so upcoming events reflect that change. WELCA ladies group from St. Peter Lutheran will meet 9 a.m. on June 7 at the church. Please note the time change.
