TRUMAN — If a parent or friend is planning to join a student on May 11 for “Bring a Parent or Special Person to Lunch” at THS, you must call by April 28 to confirm and pay your $5.

Also, a book fair will be held during the “Bring a Parent or Special Person to Lunch.”

The last meat raffle of the season, with proceeds going to the THS trap shooting team, begins 6 p.m. Friday, April 28, at Aardvarks Bar and Grill. The THS trap shooting team is very appreciative of your support.

Strike Out Cancer/Catch a Cure was rescheduled to Monday, May 1, at the baseball and softball fields in Truman. Be sure to check out the awesome silent auction items and the delicious food at the concession stands. Hope to see you there to support a good cause.

Truman City Council meets 5:30 p.m. Monday at the municipal building. The public is welcome to attend those meetings.

The FFA breakfast will take place 6-9 a.m. Thursday, May 4, at Truman Public High School. The meal is available for dine-in or delivery. A freewill donation will be accepted. Those wishing to place an order for delivery in Truman should email FFA adviser Tiffany Gamache at carpentert@truman.k12.mn.us by Tuesday, May 2. Include phone number, address, preferred time for delivery, how many meals and the choice of drink. The breakfast includes two pancakes, two sausage links and choice of coffee, milk or juice.
