Meat raffle on Friday
TRUMAN — The spring school play ‘Alice in Cellphone Land’ will
be performed 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday evening in the Truman High School auditorium. Students at Truman Public School will present this one-act comedy play. This play is appropriate for all ages, which runs about one hour.
Saturday is April Fool’s Day and time to wish Carl Vogt a happy birthday. Birthday cards can be sent to Carl at 405 N. 1st Ave. W., Truman, MN 56088.
Remember that the meat raffle benefiting the THS trap shooting team begins 6 p.m. Friday evening at Aardvarks Bar and Grill in Truman. While you’re there, grab a meal.
A come-and-go bridal shower for Kayla Cremers, bride-to-be of Zach Brummond, will be held 10 am to noon Saturday at St. James Lutheran Church in Northrop. Kayla is register at Amazon and
Walmart.
Truman Fireman’s breakfast fundraiser will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, April 2. Come to the fire hall and enjoy pancakes, scrambled eggs, Denver style scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage and beverage. This is a free-will offering with all proceeds going to the equipment fund. Take-out or dine-in.
Truman City Council will meet 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 3. All interested citizens are welcome to attend.
