WELCOME – Condolences to the family of John Ringeisen who passed away last week. He will be missed.

The last Tuesday coffee hours will be held 8:30-10 a.m. on Nov. 29, at the Sherburn Legion. Join friends and neighbors for a post-Thanksgiving cup of coffee and fellowship.

The blood supply is drastically low now and your donation of a pint would really be appreciated.

Welcome Summer Festival Committee will sponsor a pork chop supper fundraiser from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Dec. 2, at the Welcome Legion Hall. The menu includes smoked pork chop, baked potato, a vegetable and dinner roll. Plan to attend and help the summer festival and get a great meal.

There will be a special public meeting beginning 5 p.m. on Dec. 8, at Martin County West High School in Sherburn to hear the report from the ISG company about all the facilities owned by the school district.

There will be “Santa Day” for area children at 1 p.m. Dec. 10, at the

Welcome Legion Hall. They plan to have fire truck rides and a police car available to look at and activities like decorating a cookie, coloring contest and more. Plan to attend.
