Truman Pride meets Wednesday
TRUMAN — Remember that the Truman High School trap team meat raffle begins 6 p.m. Friday evening at Aardvarks in Truman.
A Halloween party for kids, newborn to age 12, will be held 4-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at the old Lewisville City Hall. No fee to attend, participate in games from 4-5 p.m. or the costume judging at 5 p.m. Don’t forget your camera. This event is sponsored by the Lewisville Commercial Club.
Monday, Oct. 31, is Halloween so drive smart by slowing down in neighborhoods and putting that phone aside.
You still have time to donate gentle used or new coats, hats, and mittens/gloves at Elizabeth Chevrolet. Monday is the last day to drop off your donations at the dealership in Truman.
Wednesday is recycling day. Be sure all your cardboard is broken down and all cans/bottles are clean.
The Truman Pride group will meet 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, in the Truman School conference room. Join them and help Truman Public School succeed. Plan to attend the election night soup supper hosted by the Trinity youth group from 5:30-7 p.m. on Nov. 8. They will be serving chili, homemade chicken noodle soup, egg salad and peanut butter sandwiches for a free will offering.
