Burger Bash Saturday at Fire Hall

Truman Fire Department Burger Bash will be held 4-8 p.m. Saturday. Come to the fire hall to enjoy grilled hamburgers or cheeseburger, chips, cookie, and bottled water for a free-will donation. Delivery is available within the Truman Fire District by calling Ron at (952) 201-3095 or Jason at (507) 848-0170. Proceeds go to the Fire Equipment Fund.

Truman active living group will meet 10 a.m. Tuesday. Any interested Truman-area resident is welcome to join this group at the Truman Museum. They continue to pursue the trail to Perch Lake. If you can help financially or granting right of way of land for the project, it would be an awesome way to honor a family member. They welcome anyone to attend who would like to see your community continue to be a great place to call home.

American Red Cross blood drive will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the Truman High School Elementary Activity Room, 401 E. 1st St. S. in Truman. Come to the Truman Library at 2 p.m. on Oct. 13, for an adult craft. You will receive a picture frame, a pumpkin silhouette, then just cut out magazine pages to make a neat “fall picture.” The library will supply everything.

An open house bridal shower for Taylor Shoen will be held 10 a.m. to noon on Oct. 15, at St Paul’s Lutheran Church Fellowship room in Truman. Taylor is the bride-to-be of Eric Muehlbach and daughter of Don and Dawn Shoen. They are registered at Amazon and Target.
