Ceylon Legion sets Tuesday meeting

CEYLON -- Tuesday will be a very busy day in Ceylon. The Bible class at Our Savior's Lutheran Church will be held 9:30 a.m. every Tuesday. Area residents are welcome to join them to grow in God's

Ceylon City Council will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday at Ceylon City Hall. All members are urged to attend. There is always a time for public comments and questions at the beginning of each meeting. The City would like to thank residents for their cooperation and patience during the road construction. Please continue that cooperation.

Ceylon Legion will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday evening. Members are urged to attend and let their opinion on the proposed merger with the Welcome Legion be known.

Tuesday coffee hours in September continue from 8:30-10 a.m. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Welcome. Join them for coffee, goodies and great fellowship.

There is also an opportunity for coffee and fellowship in Ceylon from 8:30-10 a.m. Thursdays in the back room at the Lake Belt Bar and Grill.

During the month of September, Circle of Faith parishes may have Wednesday evening services at 6:30 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ceylon. During October, St. Peter parish will go back to 9 a.m. Sunday services, which is a change of time for them.
